ABOUT

Christopher Smyk is a multi-disciplinary artist who lives at the intersection of art and fashion. He is a fashion designer, the former wardrobe stylist for the platinum-selling pop band Walk The Moon, and before that, a professional musician and DJ in New York City during the 1990s.

His work across modalities is an articulation of his deep ties to music, fashion, and art. After his years in the music business, he built two menswear collections before receiving the call for styling work.

During his time as stylist for Walk The Moon, the band reached #1 with their smash hit “Shut Up and Dance.” When his time with the band ended, and while seeking a healthy creative outlet during the pandemic, he began painting.

Initially, he painted pieces from his own collections, eventually expanding his practice to canvas and paper. His artwork has since been exhibited at Art Basel, The Arlo Hotel, and the “Best of 2025” show hosted by The Color House in Miami.

Here, Christopher presents a collection of hand-painted hats, each one entirely unique, with no two alike. He uses traditional acrylic paint as well as graffiti mops, a nod to his more than twenty years in New York City and his roots as a DJ and lifelong admirer of 1990s hip-hop culture.

In addition, he offers hats from his Private Collection—pre-owned yet unworn pieces—each uniquely embellished with his distinctive eye for style and detail. Once again, Christopher unites art and fashion in a sophisticated, one-of-a-kind, and accessible fashion accessory.
